Angaston Early learning Centre is located adjacent to the Good Shepherd Lutheran School and we
share many facilities and opportunities with the school.
Our children benefit from this close partnership by joining with the school, for special events such as
sports day, performances and our Educators have the opportunity to be involved in joint professional
development.
Our children have sport lessons each week with the PE teacher and library lessons with the Librarian.
Every Wednesday we have an Atelierista (specialist art teacher) come and take our children to the
school art room for art sessions with a focus on working and expressing their learning through the
medium of clay.
One of the most valuable opportunities for our children is that they have a ‘buddy class’ and each child
has a ‘buddy’ from the school who spend time with our children to learn together and foster strong
nurturing relationships that set our children up for a very secure and smooth transition to school.
By the time our children are old enough to start school, they have a very good understanding of what a
school day is and a sense of security and confidence that this is just part of what they already do and
know.

Kids Zone OSHC
Angaston Early Learning Centre has an exciting school age program in our dedicated house ‘Kids
Zone’.
This this co located on the Good Shepherd School site adjacent to the oval. We deliver and collect
school age children from Angaston Primary School and Good Shepherd Lutheran School for before and
after school care is our centre van.
Every school vacation time, we have an exciting vacation program for all school aged children.
